Dun Laoghaire Further Education Institute was the venue provided to Dun Laoghaire Lions Club for the packing of hundreds of food hampers to be delivered to needy families before Christmas. Again this year, JCI Southside Dublin sponsored a 'toy gift' tree at Bloomfields Shoppping Centre (see above). All the toys donated by shoppers were distributed by Dun Laoghaire Lions to needy families. Above right: Lion Eamon Teehan with Lisa Marchal from Indiana who contributed to the food appeal during her visit to Dublin to attend the U2 concerts
